New York City is arguably the best city in the world. Part of what makes it so great is the amazing plethora of extremely diverse neighborhoods, all with their own unique histories. In the span of twenty minutes, you could easily be fooled into believing you are strolling down the streets of Dublin, eating dumplings in Beijing, or sharing a freshly made cannoli in a Sicilian cafe, when in reality, you are merely traversing some of the diverse neighborhoods that make Manhattan and New York City so great.

One of my favorite neighborhoods is Soho, so named for its location south of Houston street. As you meander through the warren of cobble stone streets surrounded by the beautiful and historic buildings that make up much of Soho, you can easily imagine yourself walking over the same stones a century earlier. With dozens of art galleries and museums, and a plethora of delicious restaurants and cafes, you will not be short on things to do. And with easy access to many of New York City’s subway lines, you can easily visit any other part of the city that you wish to see. Why not take advantage of your vacation time this Easter holiday to make this experience your own. To experience the real magic and splendor of Soho without actually living there, you must stay in a vacation rental apartment, so that you may experience it as only a true New Yorker could.

This one bedroom vacation rental apartment, located on the eastern edge of Soho, can be A sidewalk located in the New York City Neighborhood of Sohoyour home during an unforgettable Easter vacation. The apartment, which comes fully furnished and with a completely equipped kitchen, comfortably sleeps 3 people. The advertised rates are as listed below, but these are flexible and subject to change.

  • For a 3-45 day stay: $344/day
  • For 1-3 month stay: $6075/month
  • For 3-6 month stay: $5625/month

The Williamsburg neighborhood has a long history, with a diverse immigrant population that includes Hasidic Jews, Italians, Germans, Dominicans, and Puerto Ricans.

Today, younger crowds, frequently called hipsters, have embraced Williamsburg as “the place to be,” and the neighborhood is quickly becoming a hot spot for emerging musicians within in the indie rock genre. There is also a robust nightlife scene in this area of NYC, full of unique bars, including the Old Rooster which serves a gourmet menu and $4 beers and margarita specials all day long.

For visitors to NYC, Williamsburg is a great neighborhood for vacationers that plan on doing a lot of traveling during their stay. There are three subway lines that carry passengers around the boroughs.

Valentine's Day

New York City has long been one of the most iconic cities in the world for lovers and romance. Countless Hollywood romance classics have been filmed in Manhattan, including When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail, and basically every hopeless romantic film by Woody Allen. And, it’s not unusual to see a man down on his knees, proposing to the love of his life in Times Square or Central Park.

It comes with little doubt that a vacation  for two to New York City to celebrate Valentine’s Day, would fail to warm up the love in your life. There is something for every couple to enjoy while vacationing in New York City for Valentine’s Day.

Broadway offers a large variety of plays and musicals to enjoy during Valentine’s Day. A stroll through Little Italy in lower Manhattan offers numerous low-key eateries with candlelight and classical Italian music for a romantic dinner for two.

Though, the weather in New York City around Valentine’s Day is usually cold, couples can still enjoy a peaceful romantic carriage ride through Manhattan’s Central Park while bundled up warmly underneath a cozy blanket.

Metro-Homes Properties also offers romantic vacation apartments for lovebirds. You can find numerous apartments in Manhattan that are fully furnished on the Metro-Homes Properties’ website.

Another great thing about spending Valentine’s Day in New York City with accommodations in one of Metro-Homes Property’s furnished apartments is the privacy and intimate environment a couple will have, over staying in a lifeless hotel.

Check out this 1 bedroom apartment that is located in the Upper West Side. It comes with cable, internet, and even has a fireplace! Most of Metro-Homes Properties’ apartments are also within walking distance of a metro station, making traversing the streets of Manhattan on Valentine’s Day as easy as holding hands.
